The Virginia Weaver Creative Playground was rebuilt from February 26 to March 3, 2019 for the children of Cedar Hill. The park was built by the many volunteers who gave their time and talent to make this play space for children of all abilities to enjoy.
The bronze plaque acknowledges all those who gave their support for making this project a great success for the children and the future of the Cedar Hill, including the Mayor, City Council, Parks & Recreation Board, the City Administration with special recognition of CHISD – Highlands Elementary School – Grades K – 5th – Ms. Candance Galloway, and Newman International Academy – Grades K – 5th – Ms. Joyce Jackson, Mission Cedar Hill, and Children of Cedar Hill.
